LIVE CONCERT FROM CENTRAL PARK - MAY 2021

Surrounded by spring foliage and birdsong in Central Park, Yasna Voices will sing traditional and arranged songs for the Sacred Music at Columbia University concert series. We are grateful for this invitation, that gave us a reason to move forward, invent some fun ways to rehearse outdoors, and deliver our songs to old and new friends at Central Park.

THE TREE OF 40 FRUIT: NEW YORK APPLES/PIONEER WORKS

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK - OCTOBER 2020

A few months back, in October 2020, a quartet of Yasna Voices singers was invited to close The Tree of 40 Fruit ceremony at Pioneer Works, curated by Maria Popova of Brainpickings.org.

At the ceremony a most unusual apple tree was planted, one grafted with 40 varieties of local to NY state apple varieties. For the occasion Vlada Tomova researched apple-themed songs from around the Balkans
